Our story

Just like you, we began our search for an ideal 'people software' by googling 'Best HR software'. This was a few years ago, we were a 50 people company then. We had 20+ different software applications to use for email, accounting, invoicing, time-keeping, collaboration, ticketing, project management, etc. etc. We can imagine you also feel the pain of managing multiple tools & logins and the disconnected processes.

What would have made us happier? We didn’t need another password and another disconnected software. We love to keep it super simple to configure, so that there’s nothing to install and no users to be created. All we wanted was a painless easy-to-use software that seamless stored all employee related documents, agreements, etc. on Google Drive and all approvals deeply integrated with our work email and calendar. Our ideal HR software would have been nearly *invisible* - As long as it can get out of the way & free people up to do great work, it made people happier. We wanted a single platform that offered applicant tracking, recruiting, onboarding, time & attendance, performance management, learn and more with fresh technologies that enabled our people to share, collaborate and get work done.

Happierwork is born :D When we could not find any interesting product that met our needs, few brave souls from our engineering team started building one. Well that was the beginning of Happierwork!

We believe people management should not be a task or a job. It should be on the go just like dance for a dancer, magic for a magician and we believe people software can be happier, yet powerful; simple, yet scalable as the organization grows. In short, we wanted it to be Google smart such that it automates, analyzes and provides timely insights that make people happier.

Roadmap to Delivering Happiness... What makes us happiest is when our clients’ can hire better, onboard faster and manage people processes in a seamless manner on the Google Apps suite. Happierwork’s first generation contains elegant customizable employee dashboards, smart circles, company announcements, time off, HRIS and document repository along with custom approval workflows.

Over time we will be coming up with predictive analytics related to attrition and hiring decisions, compensation approvals, payroll, compliance and more. Our objective is to enable people decisions based on analytics and not opinions.
